Dear anonymous commenter & other confused/disappointed/irritated customers,

We sincerely apologize for not following through on our big product announcement. In reality, we are 2 moms with babies and other young children, we have a small store in a big industry...so real life stuff comes up on occasion.

You may or may not sympathize but we acknowledge our mistake and hope you can understand.

So here it is...

We are launching Urban Scrapyard Acrylic Books! The manufacturer had made an error in the first batch...thus the delay in product photos and detailed info. We now have the products in store. The books come in 2 sizes: 6'x6" and 7.25"x4.5" (with a cutout for a customizable closure). They also come in 3 colours in each size: "anti-freeze", "grenadine" and "bubble bath." Please contact us for more info if you are interested.

With much success following the introduction of our exclusive monkey die, we at Urban Scrapyard are embarking on a new adventure. We have developed a new product, not associated with QuicKutz, that will still be appealing to the scrapbooker at large. Images and more details will be available on our launch date - Saturday May 3 - National Scrapbooking Day.

We will be posting mini-clues each day on the blog to wet your appetitie!

Clue #1: Red, green & milky.

The product will only be available to purchase at Urban Scrapyard for the time being....

It's the end of an era...the age of the monkey is ending. We are currently selling our last and final round of the monkey. Get him while you can...especially before you'll have to place your bids on eBay for him. He'll go the way of the elusive QuicKutz VW Bug Die...a rare but much sought-after die - the Big Foot of the QuicKutz world.

We will bid him a formal farewell in a later post...

Hoping all of our Canadian friends had a wonderful thanksgiving!

(Just to clarify...tracking numbers are only sent to retailers who have chosen this option. Non-retailers, our supportive customers, will not receive a tracking number and individual packages will be sent through the mail - Canada Post.)

The Monkeys have landed...

Yay! They have just been delivered! So...here we go! Please be patient as our shipping department (her name is Michelle) processes the orders, packs them up and drops them off at our local friendly neighbourhood postal outlet. Just a reminder that our orders are shipping based on the date order was received. Translation: First come-first served. If you have any order status questions, please wait to send them until Wed October 10 to info@urbanscrapyard.com (hopefully, by then you will have received a tracking number from us and a note that your shipment is on its way!)

(For our non-Canadian friends, we are celebrating thanksgiving this weekend and we are off on Mon October 8 which explains why we may not respond to you until Wednesday.)

Good News...and Bad News.

The good news first. We have heard from the "powers-that-be" (QuicKutz) that our long-awaited 2nd batch of monkeys are on their way! Yippee. Another piece of good news...more projects to be uploaded to the gallery will be happening this week. If you have any great monkey projects for us to see, please send them to us at info@urbanscrapyard.com and we may post them on our gallery!

The bad news... is not so bad. We just can't give you a specific date of arrival. But "hang" tight my friends, we will let you know as soon as they arrive and then the fun of shipping them out begins!
